Sandra Jonsson tragically lost her brother Johan to cancer in August 2014. After seven months of struggling against his bile duct cancer Johan lost his battle – only 23 years old. Shortly after he had received his diagnosis he decided he wanted to help others; he didn’t want anyone to suffer the way he did. Together with his sister he started the project “Kärlek Hopp Styrka” (Love Hope Strength) to raise money towards cancer research.
By creating and selling beanies and bracelets, and most recently by raising money at the Twin-peaks run in Edsbyn, the project Kärlek Hopp Styrka has donated 100 000 SEK to the Helleday Foundation.
